It is sometimes the case that your valued belongings may be traveling long distances, so it is our best intentions to have the proper sized crate and crate material for proper shipment.
Navis Pack & Ship’s custom crates are made with plywood protective strips, usually composed of either wood or metal. Sometimes, a thicker type of plywood is used for heavier items. Crate clips and skid mates are added due to international wood packaging requirements. All items are cushioned and protected with either two inches of closed cell foam cushioning (polyethylene foam) or foam-in-place, which is a liquid form of polyurethane material that expands into dense, solid foam around an object to protect it during shipment.
Items in a crate tend to move or shift during shipment. It is essential to have the appropriate materials inside the crate to ensure the safety of the items being shipped. Depending on the type of item(s) that you need shipped, we will determine which size crate, and materials that will result in a successful shipment.
