Navis Pack and Ship locations are often asked to ship very unusual items, thanks to our specialty of custom crating and supurb packing abilities. Recently, our franchise location in Pleasanton, California was asked to get a 1933 Ford Coupe fiberglass car body from California to Lakewood, Colorado. Franchise owner Joti Sandhu in Pleasanton was pleased to be able to help out this customer with his special shipment.
Here is what we had to say about this project: "This car was a joy to have in the shop, and fun to pack as well. Being that we are near one of the Good Guys Car Show event locations, we often see many hot rods cruising on by, so it was a pleasure to have the opportunity to pack and ship one as well."
Our customer was pleased, too! He gave us thanks and praise, which we're always thrilled to hear. He wrote: "Just wanted to say thank you for the quick response and professional services we received for the car body packing and coodination of delivery services. It arrived yesterday along with the other crated item that you also picked up and both were intact and so well packaged that no damage was done to either item during transport. Thank you for picking up the car body and then providing a superior packing/wrapping job. I would recommend your company to anyone in your area. Again, many thanks for a job well done."
The photo above shows the extreme care we take in packing each item for shipment. The car body is an antique and deserved extra special care and attention, and that's exactly what it got. The rods underneath the car body keep the rest of the body from touching the crate, preventing any risk of damage. The crate was built up over the body and gently padded to ensure no scratch or dent touched the body. It's easy to see why the major chain shipping companies cannot compete with Navis Pack & Ship when it comes to these unique, valuable items!
