At the beginning of this month, the Annex Brands franchise network traveled to Las Vegas, Nevada to hold its national convention...its theme: "Engage, Excel, Exceed". Of the most common responses franchisees provide after attending this event is the "recharging of batteries" each gets. "I can't wait to get home." The purpose of the convention is to provide continuing education through workshops, through peer feedback at roundtables and through new products and services at the vendor trade show.
Also part of the convention is recognizing and rewarding franchisees for their outstanding achievements and contributions. The company presented a whopping 107 awards to deserving franchisees.
Held at The Orleans Hotel and Casino, hundreds of franchisees learned how to serve our customers better, how to be more efficient in an increasingly technological world, and be recognized for a job well done. We welcomed new franchise owners, who have been in the Annex Brands family for less than one year, as well as franchise veterans who have proudly served their communities for decades.
Annex Brands offers packing and shipping services in addition to home office conveniences for thousands of small business owners in America. The beauty of the franchised network is it allows owners to take a 100% active role in their communities, being a truly local resource to hundreds of individuals. Workshops, small groups of up to 60 audience members listening to a presentation on a relevant subject, were provided in several rooms throughout the day, offering attendees to pick and choose the topics they learned about. Most workshops were given at two different times in an attempt to reduce schedule conflicts and increase the amount of knowledge the group as a whole would leave with.
The Home Office was very pleased with the fruits of this convention and hopes all attendees left more engaged to excel and exceed in serving their communities with the variety of services each location offers.
