Now open in the heart of Philadelphia in Love Park, is the Christmas Village. Philadelphia transforms into a European wonderland from November 24th through December 24th. This year marks the third annual Christmas Village with more than 50 vendors from around the world in set up in quaint, wooden booths for your shopping delight.
Enjoy shopping for gifts like hand-made ornaments from Germany while you munch on European foods, sweets, and drinks. There will also be performances from local Philadelphia area bands, dance groups, and more! The best part of the Christmas Village? It’s entirely free to attend, so there is no reason not to enjoy the holiday spirit with your loved ones.
On Wednesday, December 7th, Mayor Michael Nutter will lead the Christmas tree-lighting ceremony.
