If you have been looking for a simple art gallery where you can feel comfortable viewing the art even if you are not an art connoisseur, then the Sav Art Gallery in Kansas City, Kansas is just the place. Mike Savage owns and operates the gallery, which displays and sells several of his paintings, as well as art by 25 other local and national artists.
Most of the artwork for sale are acrylic on canvas, some are on paper, and some are oil on canvas. If you are interested in purchasing a painting, you have the option to buy it with its current frame, no frame, or a different frame of your choosing.
The gallery moves to the Plaza for the holidays; located at 440 Nichols Road in Kansas City. They will be open at the Plaza through December 30th at 6pm and then will be closing to pack up and move back to State Line. The State Line location will re-open in mid-January 2012.
To make sure the shop hasn’t closed up for a “mental rebuilding day”, call 913-236-9400 first. The gallery is always available by appointment as well. Should you decide to purchase an original work of art by Mike and need it shipped safely back home, call Navis to pack, crate, and ship it for you!
