The general stereotype of Las Vegas consists of bright lights, gambling, nightclubs, and a loss of inhibitions – but there is more to Vegas than that. A good alternative is to visit The Arts Factory in the 18b Las Vegas Arts District.
In 1997, this 50-year-old commercial warehouse was turned into an art center. This warehouse holds art displays, art classes, community meetings, charity fundraisers, theater performances, concerts and many more artistic activities.
The Arts Factory lies in the heart of the 18b Arts District. Every first Friday of the month, this district has an art walk that takes place called the First Friday Festival. Here, and crowd of about 10,000 visitors come together to eat, drink, and browse local art.
If you happen to be in Las Vegas in the beginning of the month, be sure to go by this festival for a fun and cultural experience.
