The North Carolina Museum of Art  - A Monumental Institution

Art, in all its forms and mediums, is our passion. It’s just something that we truly, deeply and unwaveringly care about, which is precisely why we think that The North Carolina Museum of Art is one of the best places for artists and art enthusiasts of all ages to get inspired. Featuring everything from Egyptian sculpture to contemporary art, walking through the museum is similar to time travel.

Located in Raleigh, just about 11 miles from our Navis location, the museum is an institution that provides visitors with an opportunity to gaze upon the work of some of the most creative influencers and dynamic innovators in the art world and across generations, and that is just their permanent collection. Whether you like African, American, Ancient American, Egyptian, Classical, European, Modern, or Judaic art, don’t fret, the museum has you covered.

Yet, the North Carolina Museum of Art also hosts a large number of temporary exhibits that are both unique and diverse in nature. Featuring different types of groundbreaking photography, sculpture, borrowed collections from other venues, or even art publishing, there is no shortage of inspiration as visitors walk through the museum’s halls.

But that’s not all. The art even extends to the outside with the 164-acre Museum Park. More than a dozen works of art could be found there! So stop on by if you have a chance, it’s going to be monumental.
