In an effort to better educate our customers, Navis Pack & Ship has built a glossary of transportation and packaging related terms. For example, LCL stands for Less than Container Load and refers to a shipment of cargo that does not fill a standard 20’ or 40’ ocean container. The Consignee is the person or company to whom goods are shipped.
