For years, millions of people flock to museums to be stunned by beautiful artistic, historic, and rare pieces that challenge and expand your mind into a newer more educated reality.
What people might not realize is that there are museums that do absolutely none of that.
Let’s take a look at some of the most unique, bizarre and downright hilarious museums in the United States.

At the top of the list of notable offbeat museums is MOBA, (or as it’s known to most people) the Museum of Bad Art. Located in the greater Boston area, the title of this bold museum explains exactly what it is - a rare collection of art that, quiet frankly, isn’t very good.
In the words of the museum founders, MOBA is “The world's only museum dedicated to the collection, preservation, exhibition and celebration of bad art in all its forms.” There are three different MOBA locations (Somerville Theatre, Brookline Access Television and the Dedham Community Theater), and each space tends to display 50 to 70 bad art pieces at a time.
You will never be able to leave a fine art museum telling people, “I just got to see the world’s largest Pez dispenser,” but that is something you can see Tuesday through Saturday at Burlingame Pez Museum. The unique museum has over 900 of the most very best in Pez since 1950. Admission is only $3 for adults and $1 for kids, and every first Thursday of the month is totally free!
Each year we celebrate and induct our very best athletes into the Hall of Fame, a celebrated and time honored tradition. But there is a museum in Arizona that does almost the same thing… but with fire. Located in Phoenix, the Hall of Flame is a treasure of all things fire related. The museum has several old fire trucks and equipment as well as an exhibit dedicated to the best firefighters.
