The Kitchener - Waterloo Art Gallery, located in Kitchener, Ontario Canada, is the oldest and largest public gallery in the Waterloo Region. Established in 1956, the gallery emphasizes contemporary art and often premiers work by Canadian and international artists as well.

Currently on exhibition in the gallery is Another Victory Over The Sun, which will run from January 20th through March 11th, 2012. It was organized by the Museum of Contemporary Art in Denver and features the combination of art and architecture. During the exhibition, all the natural light in the gallery will be blacked out in order to allow for the works of art to act as their own sources of illumination.
