If you are a fan of pop art and have never seen Robert Holton’s work, you are in for a treat. Drizzle Pop Art is located in Anaheim, California and offers art collectors an extensive collection of vibrant, “drizzle” pop art.
Hampton’s art depicts pop culture icons printed onto stretched canvas and then hand-painted using his signature “drizzle” technique. His collection of work features bright, colorful, and fun images that are usually very meaningful to people who find their own personal connections to his imagery.
“As a young boy growing up I always enjoyed making artistic things and knew someday I would be working in a creative environment,” said Hampton. “Because of my career in signage, I created a series of paintings on Southern California icons that have brought about happy memories for me at different points in my life. My hope is that when my pop art paintings are displayed, viewers can think back to pleasant memories in their own lives.”
Hampton also owns One Day Signs, Inc., a business he started with his father over 20 years ago in a garage. He had always wanted to start painting, but never found the time. After his wife passed away in April 2003, he turned to painting and hasn’t stopped since.
