Christmas shoppers in the area of Menlo Park in California will be pleased to attend the free market this Saturday. Sponsored by the Allued Arts Guild Auxiliary for Children, the Allied Arts Guild is hosting the Christmas Market this Satuday December 1st, 2012 as a chance for local shoppers to get a jump start on their Christmas gift giving. Purchase hand-crafted pieces from local artists and the Palo Alto Auxiliary and browse the Allied Arts shops for one of a kind holiday items. There will also be carolers and a chance for kids to meet with Santa and his elf! Get into the Christmas spirit this weekend at Allied Arts Guild.
Shops include art and photography galleries, pottery, boutiques, even a woodshop! There's sure to be something for everyone on your list this year. Their website even has a Savvy Shopper newsletter that lets you know about shop events and offerings.
When you're finished shopping, head to The Blue Garden Cafe for lunch or coffee and light snacks. Enjoy your meal with a garden view or on the terrace with a bubbling fountain surrounded by lilies and hydrangeas. You may also walk the lovely grounds of the Allied Arts Guild and visit their multiple gardens.
After the Christmas Market, the Allied Arts Guild hosts a week long list of holiday events, including a children's holiday party and the annual holiday tea party.
